Britney Spears and boyfriend Charlie Ebersol have broken up and seem too be on totally different pages about the whole thing.

The popstar and Charlie had been dating for around eight months and had been looking super cute together.

However it all seems to have come crashing down and Britney went home over the weekend, posting a pic on Instagram of her in a bikini with a mystery dude on a boat.  Interestingly, she captioned it "So nice to be home! Nothing like Louisiana boys."

On Monday, Charlie posted to his Instagram with a completely different tone—a selfie video of him getting cuddles from his dog, with the theme from Toy Story (You've Got  A Friend In Me) playing over it and a VERY telling caption.

Seems like he may be sadder than Brit Brit who has deleted all photos of him from her Instagram.   A source reportedly told Us Weekly that Charlie "came off as being in the relationship for the wrong reasons".

Spears has had a well documented somewhat checkered love life.  She was famously married to Jason Alexander in 2004 for just 55 hours and then to Kevin Federline from 2004-2007.  Her engagement to Jason Trawick ended in 2013 and she seemed to have found happiness with Ebersol—there was even talk of her trying for a baby when her Las Vegas residency ends.

Better luck next time Britney!

Oops she did it again....

Britney Spears ended her relationship with agent and fiancé Jason Trawick last January but rebounded shortly thereafter with current flame, David Lucado.

Brit has publicly confessed her love for Dave and is enjoying having a romance that is not under the media microscope.

On Saturday January 25, Spears was reportedly seen with a new band on her ring finger at the soccer games of one of her young sons.

According to WENN, Britney, 32, wanted to make sure everyone at the soccer game took note of her new accessory.

So is Brit about to be wifed up for the third time? So far, there has been no confirmation from the singer or her peeps.

In 2004 Brit married high school chum Jason Alexander in Las Vegas and the marriage spanned several hours.

She then wed Kevin Federline —the couple has two sons together, Sean Preston and Jayden James.

She was engaged to Trawick for roughly a year.

Britney Spears must think she looks great in turtlenecks. There's no other explanation, save for an addiction to hickeys, as to why she wears the neck-constraining, downright matronly looking tops so often. Britney has made some puzzling decisions in her life—remember Federline?—but her everlasting love for turtlenecks is one of the most confounding yet.

Her affection for the garment can be traced way back to the time of Britney's debut album launch, ...Baby One More Time. You may recall a teenage Britney modeling a cropped style in the video for "Sometimes," or when, a year later, she wore a skintight red latex bodysuit version in "Oops I Did It Again."

It's been more than ten years, but Britney hasn't given up on turtlenecks. In fact, she seems to be wearing them more than ever. We tracked down images of Brit out and about in 12 different styles—some skintight, some loose, some sort-sleeved, some long, and in a rainbow of colors. Scroll down to witness the madness.

It's not shaping up to be a great weekend for Britney Spears, who's in the process of breaking up with both X Factor and her former fiancé Jason Trawick. Was she dumped or did she do the dumping? It's unclear, but Us Magazine is reporting that Spears returned her $90,000 ring and TMZ claims that Brit was looking to have more children, while Trawick was not. Meanwhile, a statement from Britney's people (who don't include Jason anymore, as he was one of her conservators) claim that the two will stay friends:

"Jason and I have decided to call off our engagement," the 31-year-old singer told Us in a statement. "I'll always adore him and we will remain great friends."

You know who might not remain such close friends? Britney Spears and Simon Cowell. Right before the new year, rumors circulated that Spears was about to get kicked off X Factor for not "working hard enough to earn her $15 million salary." I personally have no idea what show those producers were watching, all the "work" they so desperately wanted to see was pretty clearly revealed upon Brit's face at every turn. It might not be the worst thing for Spears fans, there were rumors of a residency in Vegas and Brit herself even mentioned something about a new album:

"I had an incredible time doing the show and I love the other judges and I am so proud of my teens but it's time for me to get back in the studio."

Back in the studio, eh? That might not be as much fun for Brit (X Factor judging is a cushy paycheck!), but her fans will be pleased.

Britney Spears, who recently became engaged to her onetime manager Jason Trawick, tweeted a photo of her engagement ring, exclaiming that she couldn't stop staring at it.
