The Real Housewives of New York are back- and BOY does it look like this season will be full of drama!
As Popdust previously reported, Bethenny Frankel has returned to the show that made her a household name, along with Carole Radizwill, Ramona Singer, Sonja Morgan, Heather Thomson, Kristen Taekman, LuAnn de Lesseps and new cast member Dorinda Medley.
Bravo has kindly released a nice long trailer for the new season, and the reason it's so long is because SO MUCH stuff happens. Bethenny and Ramona are both going through very public and very ugly divorces, and the Skinnygirl mogul doesn't exactly hit it off with Heather.
Then there's Sonja just going full trashy, LuAnn sleeping with everyone, and Carole admitting to having sexy dreams about Bethenny. oh, and there's fighting. Lots and lots of fighting!
Watch the trailer and don't miss the Real Housewives of New York on Tuesday, April 7 at 9 pm on Bravo!
Using a Black dialect isn't a meme—it's cultural appropriation.
As Black Lives Matter protests have rightfully taken the world by storm over the past couple of months, we're long overdue for thorough evaluations of just how often aspects of Black heritage have been co-opted by white audiences.
It should be obvious that much of fashion and music as we know it today was invented by Black people. We (hopefully) all know by now that we can no longer accept Blackface and use of the n-word by non-Black people as the norm—and Internet users have tried "canceling" offenders in the public eye, with varying degrees of success.
Sonja Morgan is no stranger to staging entirely fake scenes on The Real Housewives of New York.
As you may recall, last week she pretended to be in sort-of-an-engagement to Harry Dubin. This week, that fake little storyline continued - only now Harry and LuAnn de Lesseps apparently left Carole Radziwill's birthday party together and Sonja sprained her ankle chasing after them.
At least, that's her story. Heather Thomson is calling BS on this, tweeting that Sonja should just tell the truth about what actually happened. LuAnn also says NOTHING happened with her and Harry ("been there, done that!").
According to an US Weekly source, Sonja went to nightclub the Electric Room after Carole's party where she "tripped and fell over a banquette" there.
Sonja admits to being at the club but insists there was no falling on banquettes.
"I tripped on the fishtail train of my dress, which was from here to Saint-Tropez," she said.
Do you buy this? Because no one else is!
