ByLeah Ornstein,Just because they are rich, famous and have extensive access to the hottest designer duds, doesn't mean that Hollywood's hottest stars always make the best choices when it comes to their attire âeven during awards season! From the red carpet of theGolden GlobesandPeople's Choice Awardsto the hottest television show premieres and book signings, check out all the best, worst and most ridiculously dressed stars of the week in Popdust'sweekly fashion roundup!
Worst: Lena Dunham dressed up like a disco ball in this sparkly Rochas dress as the New York premiere of Girls, showing off her classy arm body art.
Best: Allison Williams looked absolutely divine in head-to-toe Dior at the New York premiere of Girls.
Worst: Here is Kristen Wiig wearing an ugly Valentino dress at The Spoils of Babylon screening.
Most Ridiculous: Where's PETA when you need 'em? Prada did nada for Anna Wintour, who committed a major fashion fur pas at the New York premiere of Girls in this hideous coat.
Worst: Cameron Diaz is a movie star, but she wanted everyone to take her seriously at her book signing so she dressed in a sloppy outfit that she thought a writer might wear and decided not to wash her hair.
Most Ridiculous: Cate Blanchett is a gorgeous actress but this bizarrely structured Antonio Berardi dress she wore to the New York Film Critics Awards looked like something an aging socialite would've worn like hundreds of years ago.
Best: Gisele Bundchen showed off her supermodel stems at Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, wearing a one-shoulder Emilio Pucci jumpsuit.
Best: Jessica Alba steamed up the red carpet at the 2014 People's Choice Awards in a white hot Jason Wu zip-up strapless number that she paired with Casadei heels.
Most Ridiculous: Malin Akerman recently split up with her husband and is clearly on the rebound by the looks of her Cushnie Et Ochs dress at the 2014 People's Choice Awards. Too much boob, babe.
Best: Jennifer Hudson flaunted her fabulous figure at the 2014 People's Choice Awards in a white hot and clingy KaufmanFranco number.
Best: This isn't the worst Britney Spears has ever looked. It's not the best, but her shoes and Mikael Ddress coordinate and nothing is ripped off and all of her body parts are covered up, so I'd say it's a style score for her at the 2014 People's Choice Awards.
Best: Sandra Bullock brightened up the night at the People's Choice Awards, rocking a fabulously floral Peter Pilotto dress.
Worst: Maria Bello appeared to be inspired by 50 Shades of Grey at the National Board of Review Awards Gala, getting overloaded in blah.
Best: Jessica Chastain rocked a bright yellow Oscar de la Renta frock to the National Board of Review Awards Gala.
Worst: Poor Jacqueline Bisset. As if her speech at the 71stGolden Globe Awards wasn't weird enough, her hair looked beyond bad and fried and her gown must have been borrowed from the costume department of Medieval Times.
Most Ridiculous: Oh, Paula Patton, why did you do this to yourself? Robin Thicke's significant other had a giant ruffle growing out of her shoulder at the 71stGolden Globe Awards, which was just simply annoying.
Worst: I guess it's great that Julia Roberts isn't wearing a blouse with pants but maybe this Dolce & Gabbana gown she wore to the 71stGolden Globe Awards is worse, which is styled to look as though she is wearing a white blouse under a strapless gown. Ugh.
Best: Taylor Swift looked incredibly elegant at the 71stGolden Globe Awards in a black and cherry red Carolina Herrera strapless.
Worst: Not so mellow yellow! Lena Dunham's assets looked incredibly lopsided at the 71stGolden Globe Awards in her ill-fitting and attention-grabbing Zac Posen strapless â which also showcased her extensive body art collection.
Best: Margot Robbie steamed up the carpet at the 71stGolden Globe Awards in a white hot and gorgeously jeweled Gucci gown.
