Brooklyn-born indie rapper Troy Ave (also known as Roland Collins) is officially Popdust's most shot-at rapper of 2016!

On Christmas night, Troy Ave was shot AGAIN. Dude can't catch a break, other than the fact that he's not dead.
Is someone out to get Troy Ave?
After the altercation in the green room of Irving Plaza, you'd think the rapper would be more careful. Details of what sparked the feud are hazy, but is there a connection between that occurrence and the one that happened on Christmas?
CNN reports that the gunman from the Christmas shooting "remains unidentified and at large," similar to the gunman from the shooting at Irving Plaza. Troy Ave, whose rap moniker is an homage to a street in Crown Heights, Brooklyn, was in stable condition after sustaining a shoulder wound and a graze wound to the head, and released from the hospital yesterday.
An attorney who represents the rapper said that "Troy Ave was targeted again... Thankfully, he will survive the second attempt on his life."
Troy Ave also released a mixtape just two days before the latest shooting. Is his music that bad? Decide for yourself.
Troy Ave: okay at rapping, pretty good at getting shot.
But there's a bright side (other than the fact that Troy Ave survived):
50 Cent, the "most shot" rapper of 2000, paid Troy Ave a visit in the hospital. 50 Cent, alias Curtis Jackson, was famously shot nine times in April of 2000, but survived.
