It's almost Friday, so if you've been looking for a flirtatious and racy jam to dictate your weekend plans—that's not as overly NSFW as the stuff Brian McKnight is giving us—look no further than Usher, Baby. Ryan Seacrest premiered Usher's new single, "Scream," on his radio show this morning, the second off June's Looking for Myself. Furthering his fruitful relationship with the likes of EDM's finest, Usher's second offering reverts back to the "OMG" and "DJ Got Us Fallin' in Love" dance floor styles of Raymond vs. Raymond, and was co-written by Savan Kotecha who's recorded with the likes of Britney Spears and One Direction. (Everybody's jumping aboard the boy band train.) The lyrics and title are direct; he's not looking to make you scream over his surprisingly inflexible political beliefs: "Now relax and get on your back if you want to scream." Upon our first few listens we're not digging it as much as "Climax," but given its participatory chorus built around the delightful phrase "a-ooh baby," we could probably come around by Memorial Day.
