We realize that "Call Me Maybe" videos are up there with pageviews, bitcoins and Sims dollars in terms of being the Internet's official currency. Spin's already made what was a definitive list at the time. But even if you've heard all nine of those, plus ninety more for good measure, you should watch this version by Bullet and Snowfox because everything about it is awesome:
The band. Based in L.A., Bullet and Snowfox (Kristen Wagner, formerly of Shut Up Stella, and Josh Shapiro) has been putting out fantastic dance-rock for years now. They've got an EP out, produced by Little Boots collaborator Baron von Luxxury; you should hear it.
The cover. Carly Rae Jepsen's version of "Call Me Maybe" is sparkly and utterly charming. This version of "Call Me Maybe" is spangly and utterly slick. Both versions are excellent.
The video. Doing a "Call Me Maybe" video in which you wistfully pine after one guy? Sure. Doing a video in which you successfully reel in about three? Next-level.
