Why This Busy Mom Uses Kidbox For All Her Kids Clothes

I'm not sure when my life turned into a zoo, but life before kids was a vacation. Between work, the PTA, soccer practice and the never ending birthday parties, life has never been busier. And then there are the things that get lost in the daily shuffle, so I'm always looking for new services that can really help. For example, I love when my kids have new clothes or when we have a special occasion to get them a new outfit, but shopping for new clothes is never a priority. My kids have mostly been wearing their cousins' hand-me-downs mixed with some deals I find at Carter's and Old Navy. Thankfully, my mother-in-law sent us a box of clothes for my kids last season. This is how I found the perfect solution to this too-busy-to-shop problem of mine: Kidbox.

Kidbox is the only personalized kids style box that provides cool brands at affordable prices--brands like Puma, Jessica Simpson, 7 For All Mankind, Reebok, DKNY and even their own in-house styles as well as new brands I'd never heard of. Boxes are designed for size newborn to size 14, and prices range from $14-16 apiece. Once the box is delivered, you have 7 days to decide what you want and send back the rest, or you can keep the entire box for $98. The coolest part about Kidbox is that for every box purchased, they donate new kids clothes to a charity of your choice. Not only are you getting cute clothes for your kids, but you're also helping those in need while you do it!

Both my kids have completely different personalities and can be very picky, so this seemed like the perfect way to find clothes they'd actually wear - and without having to do the shopping! My daughter is in Kindergarten and loves dresses, skirts, and anything with ruffles or extra frills. My son is nine and is surprisingly the pickier one; he always ends up in the same uniform - pull-on athletic shorts and a T-shirt (think dinosaurs and basically anything space-related). We went through the online style quiz and picked between four themes: Sporty Athletic, Classic Preppy, Modern Casual, or City Cool, and then their special algorithm works its magic to curate each box. I love the technology component here, but it's also nice to know each box is perfected by a stylist who takes into account our previous boxes and feedback as well as our local weather to make each box better.

When the first boxes arrived, the kids were so excited to open them up and see what they got. My daughter immediately wanted to try on everything- she loved her floral romper and bright patterned dress. I didn't think my son would be into it that much, but seeing his sister get so excited over the clothes, he participated. He got some new jeans and a couple fun T-shirts perfect for school. What surprised me most is that he actually picks them out in the morning when he gets dressed; he's never cared too much about fashion before, it's kind of cute.

Kidbox has made shopping for my kids so easy...and fun! The best part for me is that it feels like clothes just magically arrive on my doorstep, and I'm so thankful because I totally forgot to put "back to school clothes shopping" on my list of many things to do. A box showing up with cute clothes that fit and that I didn't have to shop for myself? It's what I never knew I needed!
