Shelly Sterling, wife of disgraced former Clippers owner Donald Sterling, is owed $2.6 million by his former companion, V. Stiviano, for lavish gifts paid with money that was community property.
A judge ruled in Mrs. Sterling's favor in her lawsuit against Stiviano, whose taped phone conversations with the elderly billionaire were used against her.
Remember how fascinated we were by the awful Stiviano, who outed Sterling as a whiny racist hypocrite? Remember that stupid visor she wore once she was famous? Remember how we couldn't decide who was more despicable, Sterling for his bigotry or Stiviano for her conniving disloyalty?
Well, we don't have to decide, as it turns out. We can hate them both and be satisfied that each got what they deserved.
Golddigger/Nutcase Stiviano plans to appeal the verdict, which obliges her to turn over a Ferrari, a Range Rover, a Bentley and a $1.8 million home that Sterling bought for her.
While Stiviano insists that she paid for part of the house, Mr. Sterling says that she hadn’t contributed '50 cents.' Recordings on Stiviano's iPhone reveal discussions about how to shield the gifts from Sterling's wife. In one recording, Stiviano says:
The truth is that everything that I have, you’ve given me from your heart without me begging or asking or throwing myself all over you.
Nice try, but not enough for the judge.
Let's hope that this awful trio will now go away quietly while someone options a TV movie about their sordid escapades.
Who would you like to play Miss Stiviano?
