Woman calls 911 cat hostage situation going down!
A Wisconsin woman rang 911 to report her cray cray canine gone rogue.
The felonious feline lost the plot and viciously attacked the woman's husband apparently.
But the situation intensified, after the crazed cat then held the injured husband and his wife “hostage" in their home.
So, what's a victim to do in such a situation?
Call the boys in blue, of course!
Here's how the 911 call went down:
Dispatch: Greenfield Police Department, this is Luke how may I help you?
Caller : This is going to sound like a strange question.
We have a cat and it's going crazy and it's attacked my husband.
And we're kind of hostage in our house.
We're just wondering who we should call to do something, get rid of the cat or help us.
Dispatch : This is your cat?
Caller: It's our own cat, yes.
Dispatch: So, it's your own pet?
Dispatch : Give me one second.
Haha… that's not embarrassing…
That's not embarrassing at all....
The confused dispatcher finally grasped the “gravity" of the hairy hostage-taker situation and sent help.
Cops arrived at the scene and engaged in some careful and heated hostage negotiations with the furry felon.
Finally the hostage stand-off was resolved.
The 2-year-old four-legged fugitive was apprehended and removed from the crime scene.
Thankfully for the mystery woman, it seems cops in the Greenfield Wisconsin area are used to dealing with hairy hoodlums.
Sgt Matt Borchardt tells WISN-TV:
There's been weirder [calls], but this is one of the more unusual ones. This one was unusual with the circumstances. But it's not unusual for us to handle animal complaints.
Meanwhile, the moggy mobster was handed over to animal control, and is currently languishing behind bars under quarantine.
Before, we suspect, heading to death row, as this was not his first offense.
Apparently the cat had attacked the woman's husband a week previously too.
That time, the terrified couple had managed to shoo the cat into a room and shut the door.
Allowing it time to calm down before releasing it again.
Haha. Calm down?
More like, allowing it time to plot it's dastardly revenge.
