In the world of pop music Taylor Swift is tops. The red-lipstick wearing, Harry Styles dating, self-professed daddy’s girl, chirps out hit after chart-topping hit and we’ve loved each and every one.

And we’re not the only ones: blogger and wonderteen Tavi Gevinson of Style Rookie and Lena Dunham, creator and star of HBO show, Girls, both feel the same. During a recent CNN interview Gevinson admitted that after meeting Swift she became her hero:

“Her new album is so good. She was absolutely just smart and funny and kind and genuine when I met her. At the end, I very nervously was like, "Your music means a lot to me!" And she was of course totally kind about it because at this point anyone who says they don't like her music is kind of lying.”

Mind you this is the same blogger Lady Gaga referred to as “the future of journalism.” Gevinson has also hobnobbed with Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour and sat front row at more fashion week shows than we can count. She went on:

“I love Taylor Swift. I love One Direction and stuff like that. Sometimes you want something really serious that makes you feel emotional and makes you think, and sometimes you do just want a pop song.”

But the sweet 16-year-old isn’t the only one with a music crush. Lena Dunham also has Taylor fever. In a recent V Magazine interview, Dunham professed that she and Swift have actually gotten to be Twitter pals:

“We have D.M.’ed. I’m a really big fan. She started following me, and here’s how you find out Taylor Swift is following you. You start hearing from all the insane Taylor Swift fans that are like ‘If Taylor Swift loves you I love you.’ So I sent her a message. I was like, ‘I just want to let you know that your albums have gotten me through a lot of very hard times.’ When I tweeted that her new album was amazing, every one of my Twitter followers was like, ‘I so hope that you’re joking.’ But I have no interest in liking anything ironically. If I wanted to be ironic, I’d grow a mustache.”
