Got Hormonal Acne? Here Are 3 Ways I’m Getting It Under Control

I would probably be less annoyed by my acne if someone had just sat me down and told me I’d have it for the rest of my life. It doesn’t end at 16!

1. Drink a ton of water

This one isn’t rocket science, but the key is to start about a week before your period. I have a large bottle I try to get through twice a day, and to make it more fun, I’ll add a slice of lemon or lime or even a splash of iced tea for a little sweetness. Dry skin can lead to overproduction of oils, clogging pores, so staying hydrated really helps with skin health.
