Why I’m Finally Getting Into Fantasy Football With FanDuel

To say I love football is an understatement. I live for this time of year, between rooting for my favorite team and trying to beat my friends in our fantasy football league.

Although last year, I didn’t get to enjoy the games in person, I still watched every game I could and Red Zone was my best friend. All of my buddies are massive fans too, and we have been playing fantasy football for years together so naturally, there’s lots of bragging rights on the line.

I’ve never been much of a daily fantasy sports guy though. But, last year, I got stuck with my first round draft pick getting injured for the entire season, and my buddies never let me hear the end of it. I’ve been seeing all the commercials for years now about Daily Fantasy Sports so I wanted to check it out this season.

My friends all use FanDuel Daily Fantasy Sports(DFS), so I figured I’d check it out. The best part is, while I needed time to get the hang of it, FanDuel has free contests you can enter and winners receive actual cash prizes.

I downloaded the app(available for Android & iOS) and created an account by giving them my email, credit card, and SS# – to secure your account, protect your winnings, and for FanDuel to make sure I’m not a pro athlete or coach.

Now with FanDuel DFS, I get to pick an entirely new lineup every week. Won’t have to worry about reliving last season where my best player just sat on the sidelines! Contests are super easy to get a hang of too: each player has a salary value, and the total value of your team has to be less than your weekly cap.

I created my first draft and I get why everyone who plays Daily Fantasy love it. It made watching games more exciting, especially entering their contests where sometimes first place can take home $1,000,000! You’re also able to cash out your winnings anytime too, no matter the amount.

Although football is my thing, I’m pumped that FanDuel DFSalso offers fantasy leagues for NBA, NHL, MLB, PGA Tour, UFC and more(will definitely soften the blow when the season ends).

I completely missed out last year, but I am more than making up for it this year with FanDuel DFS.
