In February, Em Beihold released her debut album Tales of a Failed Shapeshifter. The 11 tracks represent years of hard work and her versatility as a songwriter.
In 2021, she scored her first viral hit “Groundhog Dog.” An even bigger song, “Numb Little Bug” followed less than a year later. When Beihold recorded a duet version of “Until I Found” with Stephen Sanchez, she had no idea where it would take her career.
Beginning with the EP Infrared in 2017, Beihold has risen to become one of pop music’s most dynamic voices. Along the way, she’s battled writer’s block, burnout, and the weight of expectations.
