The Two Products Our Editor Can’t Live Without

Magnesium

As Lifestyle Editors, we’re always snooping around the internet – and each other’s bags – to find those brands and products that actually help people live healthier, balanced lives. Whether it’s something as simple as drinking 2.5-3 liters of water or as complex as monitoring blood-oxygen levels on your watch, we want it all. And chances are, we’ve probably tried it, too.

There is no better place to look for products that truly work than in someone’s bag. Today, we’re taking a peek in our Senior Lifestyle Editor’s bag.

Here’s everything she takes with her from the grocery store to the airport.

First and foremost, I’m a firm believer in less is more, so you’re not going to find me schlepping a gigantic tote from work to dinner. I like to keep it simple and only carry things that I will use throughout the day.

Water Bottle

My skin has been fairly dull lately, and as we all know – water cures all. I’m currently forcing myself to drink at least 70 oz of water daily.

I’m not into the massive Stanley Cups – I prefer something smaller and more portable. Plus, I know I can refill it any time, at the office or the gym, so it’s not like I need to lug around a gallon jug.

Lip Balm

I detest chapped lips and the sun isn’t doing me any favors in my worthy cause. Granted, there are a zillion lip balms on the market, but I make sure to carry Sun Bum’s Lip Balm with SPF. It’s packed with Vitamin E and aloe, so my lips stay smooth and moisturized.

Moon Juice Magnesi-Om™ and Ting™ Stick Pack

My obsession with Moon Juice started with their full-size Magnesi-Om™It helped me so much, especially at night. It replaced my melatonin nightly routine and I can get to sleep — and stay asleep all night along. The best part it helped my regularity and even alleviated mild bloating during PMs — which can be a killer.

Moon Juice are ultra-transparent and take a holistic, natural approach to wellness. They’re vegan, clean, and have no GMOs.I have a jar of the Mag at home, but when I saw they released portable stick packs paired with Ting™, I immediately ordered it.

Magnesi-Om™ has three different forms of magnesium and l-theanine which work to deliver a more focused calm. Their ingredients are also bioactive and bioavailable, so once I take it my body relaxes pretty quickly. This is my ride-or-die while I’m at the airport or traveling since it helps me chill and catch some sleep. It can even help with PMS symptoms, cognitive aging, and muscle relaxation.

On the other end of the spectrum, there’s Ting™! It’s loaded with Vitamin B Complex, Vitamin B12, adaptogenic ginseng, and folate which helps with energy, metabolism, and mood. I replaced my afternoon coffee with Ting™ as the ultimate pick-me-up. When I’m slammed with meetings or want to hit the gym, I just mix a pack of this in my water bottle and I’m set.

Both taste amazing – while Mag has a fresh, fruity berry flavor, Ting™ is super mango-y.

Kindle

Paperback lovers, don’t come for me. My bag is small! But, I need something to read other than my phone. I adore how compact my Kindle is and I can load all my books on it. Plus, if I finish a book at the airport or on the train, I can simply download another right then and there. It’s been my saving grace in all types of transportation nightmares.

Now that we know what’s in the bag, what’s the one item you can’t live without?

This feels like a trick question because I genuinely only carry essentials in my bag. If I had to choose, I think I’d take the Magnesi-Om™ and Ting™ stick packs. So I also need my water bottle!

The stick packs keep my mood balanced better than anything I’ve tried! Magnesi-Om™ calms me down and allows me to focus – and keeps me regular as a bonus – while Ting™ gives me that boost of energy and even supports brain function.

I love that I can trust everything Moon Juice. From their sourcing to their formulas, their stuff is seriously incredible.
