Popdust Presents: SHAED

The band's latest single 'Everybody Knows I'm High' is out now

Three years after their debut album High Dive, SHAED is gearing up for their sophomore LP. Although the band hasn't announced the release date, they've started to share music from the project.

The first single, "Everybody Knows I'm High." is a shift from the ethereal pop of "Trampoline" to a warmer hazy rock sound. The tone is matched by a sunny psychedelic music video the trio shot throughout Los Angeles.

Watch vocalist Chelsea Lee, Max Ernst, and Spencer Ernst talk to Jordan Edwards about the music they've been making, upcoming live shows, and the story behind the wild music video.

It's cliché to say that an artist doesn't fit into a genre. For Sophie Powers, it's true. This is the result of someone making music that sounds cool rather than what she thinks people want to hear. Audiences know when an artist is original, and that's the key to Powers' early success.

Fans of Wild 'N Out know TRAETWOTHREE as a clever lyricist who commands the stage and is quick with a comeback. Outside of the show, he's building a career as an artist. Signed to Ncredible/ Art@War / Atlantic Records, he released Out the District last year. The album featured collaborations with Blueface and DDG. His latest single, "Outside Like This," was inspired by a night that changed when he spotted his ex at a party.

Starting Feb. 25 in his hometown of Los Angeles, TRAETWOTHREE will hit the road with mentor Nick Cannon as part of the Next Superstar Tour.

Watch him talk to Lisa Diasparra about recent music, performing on Wild 'N Out, and how an encounter with Cannon changed the course of his career.

Late last month, Arden Jones set out on a West Coast mini tour. A celebration of his recent success, he played songs like "horror story" and "mr. sunshine." Part of his growth can be attributed to a steady output of new music. Throughout 2022, he released 11 short projects, culminating with the 10-track age tape 0 in November.

Despite all that recording, he found time to jump on the recent single "Can't Change For You" with labelmate Bankrol Hayden and charlieonnafriday.

Part of his rise can be attributed to a large social social media following driven by the music. Those followers mean bigger crowds. We met him at The Moroccan Lounge in Los Angeles, which sold out well before showtime.

Lisa Diasparra talked to Jones backstage about his impressive musical output, life on the road, and the origins of his ukulele. Watch the interview and stream "Can't Change For You" below.

Syd Palmieri’s new track “INSANE” takes us inside the experience of someone in a new relationship. And who has not yet gotten over their ex. A frustrating, infuriating state of being, where they're stuck in a cataclysm where they can’t fully connect with a new significant other because they aren’t 100% invested.

See our interview with her below.
