Simply Piano Lets All My Kids Win Musically

My kids are amazing and unique with their interests and personalities, but a lot of the time, I feel like I'm herding cats.

My oldest is in middle school, and the twins just entered 3rd grade. The age gap is close enough that they often like the same things, but far enough apart that they still differ; oh, and far enough that their school pick-up times cause me two daily trips.

I've been trying to get them into piano lessons after I found my dusty, old keyboard from almost a decade ago. Finding a time for lessons after their sports means a 5pm start time, late dinners, and yet another trip for me.

We tried YouTube piano lesson videos since we could at least pick when they practiced, but the kids lasted about 7 minutes - they got completely distracted and lost interest. (It was even worse with lesson books.)

I went ahead and set the office up with our keyboard and let each kid take a turn. Within twenty minutes, I heard something incredible - music! And even more shocking… Beethoven!

Simply Piano is unlike any other virtual music learning platform. It provides tutorials to help posture and interacts with the kids way more than I had imagined. My worries about it being less thorough than in-person lessons vanished when I saw the app react to their playing and give feedback.
