Every "Man" Angry About Gillette Needs His Diaper Changed

It's called "toxic masculinity" because you soiled your pants.

Two days ago, Gillette, the razor company, released their new Super Bowl spot on YouTube.

Its title, "We Believe: The Best Men Can Be | Gillette (Short Film)," lets you know that this isn't just another commercial. No sir, this is a short film. Gillette isn't just about selling razors anymore. Gillette is about real issues affecting real men. Gillette is woke. So listen up, dude, because Gillette is slicing up some hard truths: toxic masculinity is bad.

We Believe: The Best Men Can Be | Gillette (Short Film)

Here's the deal: Pretty much nobody likes this commercial—sorry, short film. The problem isn't that it's offensive. The message behind it— that "boys will be boys" is a damaging sentiment that holds men to a lower standard, and that we should be better than that— is spot on. The problem is that it seems disingenuous and pandering coming from a company owned by Procter & Gamble. These issues are too important to be paraded out in a ploy to get us to buy branded razors.

That's not to say the people behind the campaign don't genuinely care about toxic masculinity and the myriad ways in which it negatively impacts both men and women. But if you're actually a woke dude™, you don't need a razor company to tell you toxic masculinity is bad; you already know. And if you're not a woke dude, you're probably not going to become enlightened by a corporation whose primary interest is making money.

Make no mistake, the ad is a bust, missing its target audience completely.

Some men are mad about the campaign for a different reason: Gillette is clearly attacking masculinity.

Take professional waste-of-space Piers Morgan, for instance:

Imagine seeing a razor commercial that basically says, "hey guys, let's be nice to each other and not sexually harass women," and thinking, "this is a global assault on masculinity." Imagine that headspace. You would have to be so delusional, so completely immersed in your own victim-complex, that you internalize any piece of commentary on a well-documented phenomena affecting most women as a personal attack.

But Piers Morgan isn't alone in crying about his manflake feewings being hurt by a commercial. Former talented actor and current total nut job James Woods is also getting in on the fun:

Ah, yes, the "men are horrible campaign," the one that, after decades of powerful men getting away with sexual abuse, is finally holding some of them accountable. James Woods is right. Men should be mad! How dare we not be able to assault women unchallenged! Isn't that what it means to be a man? We spit and fart and beat people up and allegedly try to leverage our celebrity to pick up underage girls. And we'll be damned if a stinking razor blade commercial tries to take that away from us.

Some pathetic, non-famous dudes are also mad that their precious manhood is being cut off by big bad Gillette. They've been posting their outrage under #GilletteFAIL.

We're talking about pillars of masculinity here, men to emulate.

Guys who know that the most victimized men are the white ones.

Guys who think "soyboy" and "cuck" are insults instead of confessions of deep-seated insecurity.

Guys who definitely don't have manginas.

And of course, guys who are protesting by not shaving their handsome, oh-so-manly faces.

Let's be honest here. If you claim to value traditional masculinity, but then proceed to get so deeply shaken by a commercial that you need to cry about it on twitter, you are not a reflection of your own values. You are a whiner. You are a complainer. You are a little baby crying into a void and your diaper needs changing. So sure, the Gillette ad may be "virtue signaling," but to the toxic "men" who are so, so offended by it: you're proving their point.

Oh, and check out the video above because as bad as corporate pandering may be, toxic dudes are a whole lot worse.

Ashlee Simpson

All you need to know.

Full Name: Ashlee Nicolle Simpson

Date of Birth: October 3, 1984

Born: Waco, TX

Occupation: Singer, songwriter, actress, reality personality

Status: Married to Evan Ross (2014)

Children: 2

She's the sister to another famous Simpson and wife of the son of a superstar mom. Ashlee Simpson is a singer-turned-reality star putting her life on display as she reemerges into the spotlight as a musical mom of two, devoted to her darling, Evan Ross. Here's a bit about the blonde beauty and why keeping it real makes her relatable.

The Simpson Singers

Pop music fans were impressed by the talent of Jessica Simpson when she first hit the scene. But her little sis had music in her blood too. Simpson was set to prove her older sister wasn't the only one in the family who could be famous. Out came Autobiography, Simpson's first album, released in 2004. The breakout single, "Pieces of Me" hit the Billboard Hot 100 chart in the top five and was a huge success. Simpson's sound was not as "pop" as her sister's – she was darker, grungier, and introspective. The contrast was perfect when it came to comparing the two, and Simpson could stand on her own as an artist. She followed up with several other albums over the years and is now back in the recording studio with her man, as seen on their reality show.

Ashlee + Evan

Simpson has been married to Evan Ross (son of Diana) since 2014. Together they have a daughter and Simpson has a son from her previous marriage to Pete Wentz of Fall Out Boy. For those interested in the couple's lives, tune into E! to watch their reality show, Ashlee + Evan. They share special moments and music, and make memories right before our eyes. Let's hope their relationship doesn't wind up like her sister's did when Jess was married to boy bander Nick Lachey. Remember Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica? Reality television and marriages don't always mix.

Stylish Simpson

Simpson is fashion-forward, trend-setting, and always cool. No matter the occasion, Simpson is stylish, be it casual or classy. Here are some of Simpson's notable fashion moments:

Eric Decker Throws in the Towel

Patriots Wide Receiver to Retire

At the ripe "old" age of 31 (at least when it comes to football), Patriots wide receiver Eric Decker will be tossing the pigskin no longer.

On Sunday, Decker shared the news with his million+ Instagram followers, "It is time to hang my helmet up and start a new chapter in my life." With a plan to spend more time with his wife, country singer Jessie James Decker and their two kids, football is no longer his focus, although as NBC Sports points out, "As far as mid-summer retirements go, the reaction to this one probably garnered more of a shoulder shrug and a nod than a spit-take. Can't really say you never saw it coming." Perhaps a retirement was on his mind for a while.

Having just recently signed a one-year contract with the New England Patriots earlier this month, a retirement announcement is a change of heart for the fella who some who consider something of a heartthrob. While he has been a pro athlete for eight seasons, Decker has been giving fans of reality TV a taste of what goes on off the field. Eric & Jessie airs on E!, providing a peek into the lives of the cool couple and their cute kids. This "new chapter" may just be an excuse to replace receiving with a remote control.

According to NBC Sports, "Patriots receiver Eric Decker had difficulty getting his feet under him in New England since signing in early August. He had issues with drops. He hardly played with Tom Brady through two preseason games. He caught two passes on six targets for 12 total yards in his two exhibition contests in the Patriots offense."

Time will tell what Decker does post-retirement. Will he remain working in sports in some capacity or bid a fond farewell to football altogether? Surely, he will retire with a chunk of change in the bank with the freedom to do anything he aspires to. Modeling? More airing of dirty laundry for fans of "reality" television? Expand the fine-looking family by another kid or two? At 31-years-old, Decker is still plenty young and the world is his oyster. And he will leave football with a legit legacy. "He played for the Denver Broncos, New York Jets and Tennessee Titans during his eight-season career, catching 439 receptions for 5,816 yards with 53 touchdowns," notes ESPN.

And perhaps he got out just in time. As Patriots Wire reports, "Patriots were shopping Eric Decker before he retired." Beat 'em to the punch?

INTERVIEW | Australian Music Duo, The Aston Shuffle, Are Taking House Music By Storm

The Aston Shuffle are giving house music fans everything they want and more with their newest tracks

Australian power house music duo, The Aston Shuffle, are debuting their new single Everything I Got. The Aussies played by the likes of Oliver Heldens, Don Diablo & Zonderling to name a few also have a few tracks coming down the pipeline! We got a chance to catch up with them this week to ask them a few questions about their music--

Where did your interest in music stem from?

I started playing piano when I was 3 years old, so I pretty much can't remember a time when I wasn't involved in music in some way. But it was all about classical music until I discovered dance music around the age of 13, and I pretty much became instantly obsessed.

What do you love about creating music?

It's immensely satisfying to make music and hear from fans that they really connect with our music, or to see a crowd sing along to something we've made as well. That payoff is so amazing and never gets old, it's definitely something that drives us to keep making music.

What was your inspiration behind creating 'Everything I Got'?

We've been wanting to make a piano-led track for a while, there's lots of house tracks with big pianos at the moment, and we really love that sound, so pianos were a must for this track. Click here to check out our new track.

What do you love most about performing at festivals?

Festivals always have such an amazing vibe, you can really play differently at festivals to club shows. Crowds are usually more "up for it" I think, they're really enthusiastic, and that always gives festival crowds an amazing energy.

What festivals are you performing in this summer?

Where can fans see you perform live? We're playing at Tomorrowland in Belgium again this summer, on The Magician's Potion stage. We played on that stage last year as well, it was so much fun! We've been working on a lot of new music as well, and we can't wait to play some of those new tracks for the Tomorrowland crowd.

How would you sum up your music in two words? Big fun!

What feelings do you associate with your music? We're always trying to create something special with our tracks, it's hard to put into words I guess but a sense that a track is something special is what we're always striving for with our music.
Where can readers go to find out more about you?Our website is a great place to start, you should also check out, which is the home of our monthly mix series Only 100s. We also host a weekly radio show on triple j in Australia which you can check out at!

Tap Out! John Cena and Nikki Bella Call Off Engagement

After six years together, it's over

Looks like John Cena and Nikki Bella beat the "seven-year itch" to the punch.

After six years together and engaged for about a year, the WWE reality show wonder-couple has decided to go their separate ways, leaving fans, family, and friends wondering what went wrong.

Cena's public proposal

The couple released a statement to US Magazine, "While this decision was a difficult one, we continue to have a great deal of love and respect for one another." Apparently, a "great deal" wasn't enough to get the two to the altar, but if their six years together meant anything, perhaps Cena and Bella can still be friends. For the sake of must-see TV if not for anything else.

Bella's twin sister, Brie, is happily married and has a baby girl. If you've ever watched their E! reality TV shows, Total Divas and Total Bellas, you'll recall (Nikki) Bella's desires to be married and have a child too. But Cena is self-proclaimed no-kids kinda guy, leaving Bella to choose between potential motherhood or a life with him, child-free. Poor Bella not only let her biological clock tick for six perfectly fertilizable years, but she didn't end up with her "Prince Charming" either. It's no surprise why wrestling arenas aren't the setting for childhood fairytales.

During happier times

40-year-old Cena is a WWE superstar, TV personality, actor, and then some. His career is skyrocketing with lucrative endorsement deals and big-budget film roles. He currently stars in Blockers, proving the man of muscle has a funny bone too. Could it be that his ever-booming career put his relationship with his fiancée on the backburner? Eventually, gossip rags and entertainment media outlets will wrestle the true reason for the breakup out of them. 'Till then, Bella can work out her frustrations on the mat while Cena hits the red carpet solo to promote his movies.

Another celeb romance bites the dust. Cena and Bella gave it a good run, but sadly, it was time to tap out.

Stay tuned for more developments in the Cena-Bella breakup.

Reality TV Royalty | ‘Keeping up with the Kardashians’ returns to Bravo

The much anticipated reality TV show revealed a lot in its epic return — while also leaving a bunch of juicy details out

Reality TV Royalty

'KUWTK' was anything but satisfactory. Sure the episode revealed the usual drama that the infamous family faces every day, but not the answer to a question we've wondered about for a while now.

Yes, Kris Jenner decided that it was not quite time yet to reveal Kylie Jenner's "situation" — only hinting at a person taking unsolicited photos at Kylie's house. As Kris was doing interviews, the camera kept pointing at her as she took a serious call concerning the situation and asked her daughter if she wanted the person arrested.

With yet another week of vaguely hinting at Kylie's privacy and current situation, us fans are left disappointed again — I'd honestly feel a bit guilty about constantly talking about her pregnancy if it wasn't teased every time the show aired promos. However, 'KUWTK' definitely delivered on other fronts this Sunday.

For instance, Blac Chyna finally agreed to sign the family law agreement and hopefully will stop causing trouble for the family. The agreement centered around custody payments and other legal negotiations which have been going on for a while now.

Although no one explicitly said anything about Rob Kardashian's revenge porn incident last year, Kim did briefly mention that he should've "controlled himself" because he had sisters. Honestly, he shouldn't have done it anyways as it was illegal and nonconsensual — but the Kardashians aren't ones for remarks to shake the boat.

Kourtney Kardashian was also a subject of this week's episode — she's finally come to terms with her relationship with 24-year-old former model and boxer, Younes Bendjima. While getting ready for a week-long vacation with her boyfriend, she reflects on how she's ready to introduce her kids to him and how Scott Disick is a "co-parenting partner who's not fully reliable."

And who can forget the main attraction of this episode — Khloe's mime prank. In an effort to cheer Kris up, she hired a mime to be cuffed to her mother for an entire day. Like most of the girls' other pranks, it seemed to have both an amusing and annoying effect.

Kris Jenner then showed up to Khloe's house dressed like a mime — and handcuffed herself to her daughter. It was actually a really happy and uplifting scene for the audience considering all the other things going on in the episode.

However, is there more to come? Next week's episode is mysteriously titled "Bun in the Oven" — which could allude to Khloe's pregnancy, Kim's surrogacy or Kylie's pregnancy confirmation. We'll just have to wait another seven days but hey, at least you'll know you're in for a night of antics and drama.
