The debut game from Cameroonian studio KIRO'O Games' Aurion: Legacy of the Kori-Odan was partially funded by a Kickstarter in 2015. The action RPG puts the player in control of Enzo Kori-Odan, the prince of Zama. Enzo is soon betrayed by his fiance's brother, and the couple must soon journey across multiple continents to defeat him. Rooted in African mythos, the game was praised not only for its gameplay but for its authentic portrayal of Black and African culture.
