Madonna has taken her ‘fun’ mom act on the road.

The 57-year-old has hopped over the pond to spend some time with son Rocco in London.

Madge is working hard to repair their fractured relationship and resolve the bitter custody battle she is currently engaged in with the 15-year-old’s father, Guy Ritchie.

As Popdust previously reported, Madonna has been battling with Ritchie over where their son should live.

The teen wants to live with his dad in the UK, but Madonna wants him with her, and has (unsuccessfully) gone to court to try to force his hand.

According to TMZ, Rocco finds his mom “too controlling” and complains that she pretty much ignores him.

He also objects to being dragged around the world on Madonna’s seemingly never-ending Rebel Heart tour.

Both Madge and Guy have lawyered up, and at one point it looked as if a War of the Roses style battle to the death was about to kick off.

However, there’s been an abrupt end to hostilities, following the advice of British High Court judge Justice MacDonald, “to seek, and to find an amicable resolution."

The judge urged the warring parents to give peace a chance, in a custody dispute ruling last month.

MacDonald wrote:

As I observed during the course of the hearing, summer does not last forever.

The boy very quickly becomes the man. It would be a very great tragedy for Rocco if any more of the precious and fast receding days of his childhood were to be taken up by this dispute.

Far better for each of his parents to spend that time enjoying, in turn, the company of the mature, articulate and reflective young man who is their son and who is a very great credit to them both.

Taking the advice to heart, Madge has decamped to her house in London and engaged on a full charm offensive against Rocco.

Earlier this week the pair were photographed having “fun” at London's Barbican art centre, as they checked out the Strange And Familiar photography exhibition.

They also went to the cinema to see Batman vs Superman, had a meal at celeb favorite, Chiltern Firehouse, and watched a performance of the interactive theater production, You Me Bum Bum Train.

Madge even dropped in on Rocco’s North London school on Tuesday, to check up on his studies.

To ensure she would bring the maximum mortification to her teen son, Madge was clad in black leather studded fingerless gloves, biker-chic chains and rings, and truly horrific perspex heeled shoes.

Meanwhile, in typical Madonna fashion, she’s been sharing evidence of their “fun” times on Instagram.

She posted a photo of herself, Rocco and a couple of his friends hanging out together, captioned, "Fun in London with my homies.”

Just in case anyone was left in any doubt about how much fun they were having, she added some Union Jack, champagne, ghost and party emojis.

Now, that’s what we call fun!

madonna losing her mind

Madonna showed up 4 hours late for a show in Melbourne, dressed as a clown, adding to speculation that she is losing her mind over the protracted custody battle for her teenage son Rocco.

Her free 'Tears of a Clown' show was billed as an evening of comedy, performance art and storytelling. Scheduled to begin at 8:30 p.m., the crowd was not allowed into the venue until 11:30 p.m., and Madonna finally appeared just before midnight.

Fans tweeted their predicament, some wondering how they could make it to work in the morning.

Madge took to the stage in full clown costume, riding a tricycle.

It's no secret that Madonna harbors a desire to do stand-up comedy. Once, she insisted on trying out some jokes on Late Night With David Letterman, and bombed so badly that it was hard to understand her motivation.

Her show in Melbourne was bizarre in all respects.

Madonna Reveals Her Wig Collection—Is Nothing Sacred?

Madonna apologized for the delay and explained that the show was a "work in progress." She also informed the audience that she wasn't making money on the tour because of all the late fees in each city. Complaining about those late fees probably did little to make amends for the fans' wasted hours, but that's Madge, Queen of Pop, for you.

The show had a carnival theme, with Madge circling the stage on her tricycle and 'comically' falling off.

According to CBS News:

Her antics during the show also involved testing out stand-up comedy routines between songs, giving two audience members each $100 and sporting a jewel-encrusted grill that made her difficult to understand. She performed many lesser-known tracks and acoustic versions of hits, as well as a cover of Elliott Smith's 'Between the Bars.'

Oh dear.

Madonna Is Very Difficult, Says Armani About Capegate

During the 3 hour show, Madonna discussed her private life, dedicating the song 'Intervention' to her son Rocco, in front of a huge picture of him. Even as she shared her pain over her troubled relationship with the boy, ex-husband Guy Ritchie was appearing in court for another hearing in the ongoing custody struggle. Rocco wants to live in London with his father, despite a legal mandate that he live with his mother.

According to reports, Madonna's storytelling included an anecdote about ex-husband Sean Penn. She described going to prison to visit Penn, who'd been placed near a serial killer. The latter always had a line of groupies waiting to see him, while no one but Madonna came to see Penn.

The custody battle must be brutal for Madonna, as it would be for any mother. She clearly feels that she is losing her son, even though it is typical for a teen of his age to want to pull away from his mother.

Madonna Wants More Oral Sex

Her efforts to hang on to Rocco are only making matters worse, but perhaps Madonna is unable to take advice from child development experts. Publicly airing the dispute, and posting embarrassing photos of Rocco, seems destined to alienate him.

It's hard to watch this real life family drama but because it's Madonna, it's not clear whether she's coming undone by grief or just making sure she stays in the spotlight.

'Send In The Clowns' has an especially poignant appropriateness here.

Poor Madonna.

As previously reported by Popdust, Madonna is in the middle of a nasty, public custody battle with her ex-husband, Guy Ritchie over their 15 year old son Rocco.

TMZ are reporting that she has now hired a private investigator to keep an eye on the lad while he is staying with his father in London.

She is apparently extremely concerned over the film director's parenting skills and the site says that multiple sources (presumably all employed by Madge) have told them;

"Madonna believes Guy has set no rules for Rocco and he's living dangerously....not enrolled in school, hanging out in the parks, smoking and essentially doing anything he wants."

Rocco is chilled and relaxed.

This comes on the back of pictures surfacing over the weekend of Rocco hanging with friends "sharing a suspicious looking cigarette" (the tabloid/legal way to say joint).  The Sun newspaper had all the details—explaining that the "cigarette" was rolled up using Golden Virginia tobacco and licorice style paper before being passed around.  They even had an eye witness (clearly the pap who took the pics) quote;

"It gave off a pretty pungent smell.  It looked very much like cannabis, though I suppose it could have just been normal tobacco.  At one point it looked like they were burning resin into the cigarette."

Rocco Ritchie Wishes Madonna Would Be Less Rebel More Mom

This incident isn't going to help Ritchie's case in the custody battle.  Rocco wants to live with his Dad permanently because he's just had enough of his strict, controlling mother, he very publicly quit her tour in December and has refused to go home ever since.  This episode plays into Madonna's hands so well the more cynical among us could almost think her PI followed the kid, reported to Madge that there was a pot party at the skate park prompting her to call a trusted pap to hot foot it down there to snap the photos!

Point to Madge

Yay! Madonna now has photos proving what a terrible father Guy Ritchie is, that  he is such a lax parent he would allow his teenage son to use DRUGS!  A source (again for that read Madonna's PR) told People;

"This is exactly what Madonna has been afraid of.  Rocco still isn't back in school—and now this.  He is just a rebellious teenager, but he needs guidance and direction from his father."

Make sure you don't fall off that high horse Madge.

CRINGE!  Madonna Eats Drake’s Face On Stage At Coachella—Watch His Hilarious Reaction!

The warring parents were due to have a custody hearing in court in NYC last week, but the hearing was moved to March because of her touring schedule, meaning Rocco will stay in London with his Dad until them.  This tells us everything we need to know about Madonna.  I mean seriously?  You think your kid is being poorly looked after, you think he's out of control and living dangerously but you would rather he stayed where he was for a bit longer than cancel a couple of tour dates? WTF?

Madonna has been fully engaged in a damage-limitation-social-media-PR campaign lately, with lots of pics of her happy children.  Last month she posted a throwback picture of her with all the children with the caption;

"It's possible to be an entertainer and a good mother!!! Too bad we don't live in a society where many encourage strong independent working moms! The next great Frontier!"

Madonna Is Very Difficult, Says Armani About Capegate

Of course it's possible for working moms to be great moms but FYI Madge, the only person saying dragging your kids round the world on tour doesn't work, is your son.

madonna force rocco live her

If there’s one thing we all know by now, what Madonna wants, Madonna gets.

Let's face it, old Madge is used to getting her own way, and she’s determined to do just that when it comes to her 15-year-old son, Rocco Ritchie—even if it means forcing the poor kid to live with her, completely against his will.

Madonna Takes Rocco Ritchie Custody Drama To Instagram

As Popdust previously reported, the 57-year-old has already gone to court once, in a bid to achieve her aim—resulting in Rocco being ordered by a judge to return back to NYC to spend Christmas with his mom, even though he wanted to remain in London with his dad, Guy Ritchie.

Rocco ignored the order though, staying firmly put with his dad and stepmom over the pond, after Guy went to a London court and won a reprieve.

Rocco Ritchie Wishes Madonna Would Be Less Rebel More Mom

Madonna responded the way any loving, heartbroken mother would, when they solely have their child’s best interests at heart—by thoroughly humiliating her teenage son—posting a photo on her Instagram, of poor Rocco in swimming trunks, captioned #nosausage.

Yeah, nothing but nothing is likely to endear a teen boy to his mother more than a good old spot of social media penis shaming.

Nice one Madge!

Madonna Reveals Her Wig Collection—Is Nothing Sacred?

Not surprisingly, Madonna is not going to give up at the first failed hurdle, and just let her son be happy—Ha! As if bitches! She’s vowed to fight on and get her boy back—by hook or by crook!

She’s going to have one hell of a fight on her hands though—according to TMZ, Guy Ritchie has enlisted the services of a top attorney as he gears up for a bitter custody battle.

Watch U2′s The Edge Fall Off The Stage—Top That, Madonna!

TMZ claims that Rocco finds his mom "too controlling" and that she pretty much ignores him, in addition to dragging him around the world on her seemingly never-ending tour.

Both Rocco and his father believe he can be provided with a more stable and loving home back in London, and the teen is digging his heels in, and insisting he does NOT want to live with his mom anymore.

A New Madonna—Why The Long Face?

Meanwhile, Madonna’s PR flack, a source close to the singer, is blaming Guy Ritchie for the situation—claiming to TMZ that the director has been trash talking her and has turned Rocco against her.

Of course, because God forbid Rocco would actually have his own mind, and feelings, and prefer to live with his dad rather than Queen Madge.

That's just insanity!

madonna rocco custody drama

Madonna has taken her custody drama to Instagram by posting words of love to son Rocco, who refuses to return to their home in New York and prefers living in London with his father.

But Instagram may well be part of the problem between mother and son.

Madonna Is Determined To Force Son Rocco To Live With Her Against His Will

Madge has a penchant for sharing photos of her children in candid moments, which they may not always find amusing. Most questionable is her picture of 15-year-old Rocco in swimming trunks with the caption #nosausage.

#NoCommonSense, Madonna!

Madonna posted happy Christmas photos of her three other children, while Rocco's stepmother posted a throwback photo of her wedding to Guy Ritchie, prominently featuring a smiling Rocco.

Rocco Ritchie Wishes Madonna Would Be Less Rebel More Mom

Madonna believes that Ritchie is behind Rocco's refusal to return to his mother. In a bitter divorce, it's not unusual for parents to use their children as pawns by trying to alienate a child from the perceived enemy. It's a universally renounced practice but apparently still going strong in the Ciccone-Ritchie family.

Now the tabloids are drooling over Madonna's sad situation, finding 'sources' to comment on Rocco's estrangement from her.

Madonna Reveals Her Wig Collection—Is Nothing Sacred?

She's too controlling, she treats him like a trophy, she's always yelling, and in a bold invention, Radaronline reports that Madge is threatening Rocco with military school.

At a court hearing in New York, a judge ordered Rocco to return to his mother's home for Christmas, and to attend a final custody hearing on February 3.

A New Madonna—Why The Long Face?

The boy ignored the first ruling, with his father said to have gotten a reprieve from a London court. Time will tell how the family plans to resolve this painful dispute.

Meanwhile, on Christmas Eve, Rocco posted a video of himself skateboarding through London. A friend asked, "Wtf is happening where you going?"

Madonna Opens Up About Terrifying Teen Rape Ordeal

Fifteen year old boys don't want to be cornered. They are struggling to break away from parental control and it's a delicate balance that must be struck.

Plus, we won't be the first to point out that Rebel Hearts may run in the family.

Madonna has taken legal action to make her son Rocco fly home from London to spend Christmas with her, according to multiple reports.

Madge appeared in court on Wednesday to ask a Manhattan Supreme Court judge to intervene in her dispute with the teenager, who wants to stay in London with his father, director Guy Ritchie.

Rocco, now 15,  has been traveling with Madonna during her Rebel Heart tour and is tired of her frantic pace, apparently. While a custody agreement beween Madge and Ritchie stipulates that Rocco will spend Christmas with his mother, the boy is saying he wants to live with Ritchie.

Madonna and her lawyer have implied that Ritchie is behind Rocco's decision, and that it is part of a larger custody battle between the divorced couple. But Ritchie has declared in court that the decision was Rocco's.

The judge in the proceedings agreed in theory that Rocco could live with live with his father but must still first return to New York to spend Christmas with Madonna.

Madonna was reported to be very happy with the court's decision and exchanged smiles with the judge.

But wait!

At the time of this writing, Rocco is still defying his mother's wishes and the court order.

Poor Rocco.

Parents, let's remember that divorce is painful but most shattering for children. Rocco has become the spoils of war - the absolute worst way to manage parental conflict.

Merry Christmas, Madonna and Guy. You sure fucked this one up.
