A Mom’s Honest Review Of Yumi

A Mom’s Honest Review Of Yumi
I thought feeding a newborn would be tough, but feeding Olivia got even harder after she was past the milk stage.

Olivia is 6 months old now and has started on baby food. At first, I was feeding her regular store-bought baby food, until I read that most commercial baby foods contain dangerous levels of arsenic, lead, cadmium, and mercury.*

Since then, I started making Olivia’s food myself, rotating between the same pea or carrot puree. But prepping all of her meals and cleaning the kitchen takes up too much time (time that I don’t really have).

A friend recently recommended Yumi– ready-to-eat baby food delivered to your door weekly. I doubted it could be any different to the store-bought stuff – I didn’t trust baby food companies after everything I’d read!

Getting baby food delivered to my door would make my life a lot easier, so I looked into Yumi.

Here are 5 things I was surprised to find out:

Making good quality, healthy food is Yumi’s top priority. The food is certified organic, pediatrician-approved, vegan, gluten-free, and free of GMOs. I realized this is a lot safer than the store-bought stuff, so I decided to give Yumi a shot.

The Yumi menu goes through 7 stages with options for 6-month-old babies (blended) to 11+ months (finger foods), along with vitamins and yummy snacks like fruit leathers.

Yumi has a huge range of flavors. My box came with everything from Pea flavor to Apricot, Adzuki Bean, Zucchini, Dragonfruit, Lentil, and more. They add new seasonal flavors every quarter.

Yumi could not be more convenient. With their subscription, your child’s food lands on your doorstep like clockwork. There is zero prep involved; the foods just have to be kept in the fridge till they’re ready to eat.

Since I’ve signed up for Yumi I have one less thing to worry about as a mom. Nutrition is most important in the first 1000 days of a baby’s life for cognitive and physical development, and Yumi’s meals are so nutrient-dense I know they have it covered.

Yumi is free of all the big 9 allergens – milk, eggs, fish, crustacean shellfish, tree nuts, peanuts, wheat, sesame, or soybeans; I can’t believe I ever doubted them. I’m so glad I took a leap of faith and gave it a shot. It has been a huge relief for me.

I was happy that Olivia would get to try tons of new flavors with Yumi and was surprised at how much she loved them. Plus, I don’t have to blend anything myself now!

Yumi costs just $3.75 per meal and it’s so worth it – I never have to worry about what Olivia is going to eat. My fridge is always stocked with the freshest, most healthy and nutritious meals possible.

Plus, I know that Yumi will have the most appropriate meal options for Olivia throughout her growth – I’m definitely keeping my subscription until Olivia outgrows Yumi!

If you’re a parent and want to feed your child the most nutrient-dense and organic food, you need to check out Yumi.
