25 years after Jagged Little Pill inspired girls everywhere to embrace their dirty, messy, attitude-filled alter-egos, Alanis Morissette is taking the iconic album back on the road.

Morissette will be going on a 31-date North American tour with Liz Phair and Garbage, who both also appeared on the "Ironic" singer's 1998 tour.

Morissette also announced the release of her first new album in eight years, entitled Such Pretty Forks in the Road. The album will be released in May, and the first single, "Reasons I Drink," is out now.

It's a big year for Morissette's Jagged Little Pill. The musical based on the album opens on Broadway this Friday, and along with the tour announcement, it's sure to spark flashbacks for millions of people who found solace in it as a kid. It's also sure to inspire a new legion of fans, for if there's one thing that truly transcends and unites generations, it's the kind of angst that Morissette's album encapsulates so perfectly.
