An Artist with Beau Coup Talent and Dazzling Style
Pop singer-songwriter and dancer Phobez Apollo, who draws inspiration from the Greek god of music, Phoebus Apollo, lets loose his fusion of musical and artistic expression on "Shoulder."
After finishing his debut single/music video with Universal Music Group, Apollo made the decision to leave the label because of creative differences. Enthralled by Apollo's sui generis style and artistic flair, Google, MTV, and Music Choice jumped on board with campaigns for "Shoulder."
Early on, Phobez Apollo competed in talent shows, enhancing and developing his abilities as a performer. At the age of 12, he began writing songs, all the while improving his vocal range and presentation. Later, he included visual articulation via fashion into his musical communication. The synthesis of fashion and music imbues his performances with an ineffable impact of irresistible ascendancy.
"Shoulder" starts off with a compact pop beat flowing into a buff, infectious tune. The rhythm fuses Latin-lite aromas with burnished pop colors full of rolling, undulating sensuality. Syncopated percussion and a bursting bassline envelop the music with overwhelming, enticing energy.
Apollo's voice, lustrous and silky, is vaguely reminiscent of Bruno Mars, only more graceful and elegant. Proximate timbres of effervescent texture, as well as creamy flow suffuse his tones with assertive vitality. It's a marvelously redolent voice.
With a superlative sense of fashion, encompassing dazzling flamboyance and grand staging, Apollo's impeccable sense of style merges magnificently with the scrumptious flow of the music. The amalgamated effect of harmonics, smooth dance moves, and striking visual colors infuses the music video with extraordinary seduction, simultaneously hypnotic and electrifying.
"Shoulder" is superb, and Phobez Apollo's irrefutable talent is a force to be reckoned with. He is undoubtedly headed for stardom.
