It’s 2025. Why are women’s bodies still up for public debate? Is this content misogynistic ever going to end? This time, conservative commentator Megyn Kelly takes aim at Ariana Grande.

Megyn‘s attack was not well-received among fans, which makes a lot of sense since Ariana has a diehard group of supporters behind her. Megyn probably didn’t think it through before opening her big fat mouth to tear Ariana down during a segment on her YouTube channel.

Here’s what you should know about this ugly drama.

What Did That B**** Megyn Say About Ariana?

Megyn took shots against Ariana and did not hold back, “Ariana Grande needs to put more thought into how to add one half an ounce of fat back onto her body than she does thinking about President Trump being impeached. Obviously, she is in the middle of a crisis.”

She continued, “I’m sorry, but this woman looks ill. She is beyond skinny. She looks dangerously thin, and someone needs to do an intervention to help her. I’m not saying this to be snarky. I genuinely think someone needs to help this woman. She’s obviously troubled.”

Megyn’s harsh words fell on the heels of Ariana resharing a post from Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, calling for Donald Trump’s impeachment — due to his decision to drop bombs on Iran.

Ariana wants the world to know which side of history she stands on. But no one expected that Megyn would brutally judge Ariana’s body because of it. And just to clear something up really quickly: Disagreeing with someone’s political views doesn’t make their body fair game.

Megan brought up a touchier topic — the rumored abuse Ariana faced on set while filming Nickelodeon television shows. Whatever may have happened, it’s entirely Ariana’s choice whether she shares more than what she already disclosed in the deeply revealing Max docuseries Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV. It’s exposes the toxic and abusive behind-the-scenes culture at Nickelodeon in the 1990s–2000s — featuring Grande’s candid reflections on mandatory therapy, power dynamics, and the urgent need for safer environments for child actors

Megyn went for the jugular with: “[Ariana] was exploited as a young person, it’s not nice. It’s actually quite sad. But now she’s decided to take that troubled youth and turn it around to make constitutional judgments about our president.”

It gets worse. Megyn continued, “There’s a lot that went on, I think, on that Nickelodeon set that’s never been fully threshed out. And I think Ariana Grande should work on her own well-being and keep her constitutional thoughts to herself.”

Did Ariana Clap Back?

Ariana’s kept her cool — no response to Megyn’s jab, at least not yet. Is this something Ariana is going to stress herself out over? We certainly hope not! Ariana has faced her fair share of body shaming from fans who feel she’s dropped too much weight over the last couple of years.

Ariana hasn’t said or posted a word to Megyn — she wouldn’t stoop so low. Her recent Instagram posts are completely unbothered by this manufactured “scandal”. She’s not entertaining cheap shots, and we don’t blame her. She shared an image to promote the trailer for Wicked For Good on June 4.

Last week, the “7 Rings” singer posted a promo for her latest r.e.m. Beauty launch. Then on June 26, she shared an adorable baby photo to mark her 32nd birthday — so sweet, and totally on her own terms.

Ariana’s busy building an empire — between r.e.m. Beauty, her film career, and her music, she’s got better things to do than stress over Megyn Kelly’s snarky opinions. Girl, not even on her radar.
