Every week one of Popdust's disposable clones — grown in a vault deep beneath the Mojave desert — is exposed to the outside world through a relentless feed of news, pop culture, and social media.

The arduous process accelerates their dissolution back into an amorphous clone slurry. But before they go, they leave behind a document of what they've absorbed and what they've learned — a time capsule preserving a single moment in the slow-motion collapse of civilization. An End Times Update...

It's been a busy week for the Royal Family.

Princess Charlotte turns one, Prince George met the Obamas, the Queen and Prince Harry starred in a hilarious promo for the upcoming Invictus Games, and Kate Middleton has appeared on her very first Vogue cover.

Prince Harry Makes Us Love Him Even More With Pro Women’s Rights Speech

To mark the occasion today of the first birthday of Princess Charlotte,  daughter of Prince William and his wife, a series of captivating official photographs have been released showing her in all her adorable cuteness.

The pics were taken by her mommy, The Duchess of Cambridge with baby Charlotte bearing a remarkable likeness to her older brother, Prince George and showing just how gorgeous she is.

Prince George himself has had something of a starring role too when he met Barack and Michelle Obama during their brief trip to London last week.

It was nearly George's bedtime when he was introduced to to the President and First Lady so he looked a little bemused in his fluffy dressing gown and slippers—something Obama referred to in his final White House Correspondents dinner speech over the weekend, joking that he doesn't get nearly as much respect now he is an outgoing President and that it was "a slap in the face".

Moving on to George & Charlotte's great grandmother, the Queen, who turned 90 last week.

Her grandson, Prince Harry (<swoon>) is an avid supporter of the military and has been a driving force behind the Invictus Games which is a bi-annual event for wounded soldiers. This year's games are being hosted in Florida from May 8-12 and are an inspiration for injured servicemen and women.

The Obamas tweeted Prince Harry using the Flotus Twitter account saying the US team, responding to his challenge, are going to "bring it" to the games.  Prince Harry's reply?  He sent his own video, enlisting his grandmother, who just happens to be the Queen to laugh off their trash talk.

After the Queen's memorable appearance in the James Bond sequence during the 2012 London Olympics opening ceremony, she's certainly  showing her sense of humor as she gets older!

And finally Kate's Vogue shoot.

It's impossible to avoid comparison with the late Princess Diana's four Vogue covers, which were iconic, beautiful and just perfect. Kate may be following in Diana's footsteps, but she will never be able to fill her shoes and as such she is in an incredibly difficult position.

Apparently Kate had a lot of input into the styling of the photos and unfortunately the result is a bit.....meh.

Yes she's beautiful, but her blow dry is starting to look a little dated, her eyebrows are just too dark and thick and, while she was trying to go for understated, casual country she's ended up dressed in clothes that age her and she just looks boring.

Far from iconic.

A cute little Prince George stamp of approval for his 'Gan-Gan'...

Queen Elizabeth II celebrates her 90th birthday tomorrow, and the UK Royal Mail have released a new set of stamps in her honor.

It features all four of the current and future monarchs, including two year old Prince George, in what will be the first of many stamps bearing his image.

Prince William and Kate Middleton Post Ad For Housekeeper—Do You Qualify?

The photographer, Ranald Mackechnie, was faced with the challenge of getting a photo with not only all four of the subjects together and looking good, but the shot also needed to be divided into separate pictures of each royal head for individual stamps.  This proved a bit of a problem as it meant that little Prince George had to stand alone, and obviously he's considerably smaller than the rest of the group...

The solution was to stand the young prince on a stack of foam blocks, bringing him up to roughly the same height as his father, grandfather and great-grandmother. He certainly seems very happy with the situation—what two year old doesn't love climbing up on blocks and posing for the camera?

The resulting picture is adorable. He's grinning proudly in his cute little royal outfit with his cute little red cheeks.  He's just so engaging, and according to those at the shoot, was incredibly well behaved.  He'll certainly have to get used to when he's King—Queen Elizabeth has appeared on an incredible 200 billion stamps in her 63 year reign and sat for 129 official portraits!

If you are an avid stamp collector or a royal lover or you just don't have anything better to do with your cash, you can buy the new commemorative stamps here!

Bruce Jenner is only just in the process of becoming a woman and would you believe he's landed his first magazine cover already!

It's been revealed that the former Olympian's first photoshoot in his female persona will be for Vanity Fair—rumors are that none other than Annie Leibovitz will shoot the pics.

The pictorial is expected to hit the newsstands this summer and follows on from the co-ordinated but gradual exposure of Bruce's transition. It started with his interview with Diane Sawyer, moved onto the Keeping Up With the Kardashians: About Bruce special and is culminating in an eight part docu-series premiering in July on E! chronicling his new life as a woman.

Bruce has posed for his fair share of magazine covers over the years, including Sports Illustrated and GQ.  Leibovitz's talent is legendary and she has photographed the world's biggest celebrities over her 40 year career, including Queen Elizabeth, Michael Jackson and George Clooney.

This cover though, certainly marks a new experience for both of them!

Angelina Jolie and her family flew to London on Friday, where Angie was awarded an honorary damehood by Queen Elizabeth herself!

The Queen presented Angie with the Insignia of an Honorary Dame Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of St Michael and St George, which is rarely given to non-Brits.

In the photo above, Her majesty appears to be complementing Jolie on her very large bust-line. Angie, ever the diplomat, seems to be saying, 'Oh these? No, yours are much, much bigger, your Highness!'

After discussing their bosoms, the two icons wrapped it up and asked the other Jolie-Pitts to join them.

According to a Buckingham Palace spokesman,

The audience itself between Miss Jolie and the Queen was private. Her Majesty presented her with the insignia in its box. Mr Pitt and the rest of the family were introduced to the Queen afterwards, however.

I'm not absolutely certain so don't quote me on this, but I think the Queen told Brad Pitt how much she enjoyed his work in Thelma and Louise. She is said to watch it two or three times a night.

All in all, it was as lovely visit, and Angie was clearly glad she bothered to interrupt her schedule for the Queen. The two women even enjoyed a fistbump (shown below.)

If selling half a million albums wasn't enough proof that One Direction is currently on an unstoppable ride, the boys met Queen Elizabeth II during the 2012 Royal Variety Show in London on Monday. Such an encounter is a non-factor to us Yankees, but imagine finding yourself within 10 feet of Abraham Lincoln and Beyoncé. Aha! Now you're on their level.

And like the good English chaps they are, the guys were tickled by the idea of such a royal interaction.

Of course to Niall, The Irish One, Elizabeth is just one of many "legends" he's had the pleasure of shaking hands with. She's not his queen!

While the boys were preparing to nervously bow just like their mums had always instructed them to do, the Queen clearly wasn't briefed on the proper way to act when one comes in contact with members of 1D. Where are the mascara tears and hysterical screams?
