Chance the Rapper - Teen Vogue

Chance The Rapper, independent artist and overall do-gooder, has once again contributed to the betterment of American culture.

As many have heard by now, Chance, in a single tweet, brought back Wendy's spicy chicken nuggets. This is one of the many good deeds the rapper has done since he came onto the scene in 2012. "Positive Affirmations for today," Chance wrote to Wendy's. "I will have a good day, I will succeed today, Wendy's WILL bring back spicy nuggets at some point please lord let it be today."

Wendy's quickly noticed the tweet and replied: "It won't be today but there is always a chance." Yet the fast-food chain took it one step further and left the decision up to the people. "Y'all keep asking so here's your chance," Wendy's wrote. "The people in charge say if you guys can get our tweet...to 2 Million likes, they will bring SPICY CHICKEN NUGGETS BACK." Less than 24 hours later, Wendy's announced that they are indeed bringing back the Spicy Chicken Nuggets.

This isn't the first time Chance The Rapper has changed the world. As he faces flack for just being a human, lets remember the 5 other times Chance impacted America and changed lives like the Patriot we know he is.

1. When Chance Saved Someone From a Burning Car

Last year, Chance announced on Instagram that he saved someone's life while on his way to church. "Basically I was driving to church dolo, about to go south on lakeshore," He wrote. "Another car drives into the wall in front of me goin like 90 mph comin off the exit. I was the only person out there when it first happened, and his car was on fire so I had to break his window take off his seatbelt let his seat back and pull a whole grown man out the car unconscious." The Instagram post has since been deleted, but that doesn't change the fact that Chance is obviously Captain America.

2. He Produced and Headlined the Special Olympics 50th Anniversary Concert

In June 2018, Chance partnered with the Special Olympics to put on a charity concert. The headliners included himself, Usher, and Jason Mraz. "I haven't done as much work as possible with the intellectual and physical disabilities community," Chance said on Twitter. "But overall we've been about the access, just trying to make sure everyone is given their chance at greatness." It was a huge success, with over 7,000 special Olympians present at the festivities.

3. He's Worked Directly With Barack Obama

In 2017, Barack Obama delivered a kick-ass video message to everyone attending Chance's free surprise concert in Chicago. "Chance, I'm grateful for everything that you've done on behalf of the young people back home," he said. The duo has also worked together on My Brother's Keeper Alliance, a nonprofit launched by Obama to help improve early childhood education and to keep black and Latino men out of jail.

4. In 2015, He Was a Field Trip Chaperone for School Kids

In 2015, Chance surprised a group of 6- to 11-year-olds by taking them to Chicago's Field Museum, where they saw dinosaur bones and kicked it with Chance himself. "Surprising our first day camp today by taking them to THE FIELD MUSEUM for a special behind the scenes look at history," Chance wrote.

5. He Led Fans to the Voting Polls After a Free Show

In November 2016, Chance held another free show in Chicago, and afterwards led hundreds of people to the voting polls, once again proving he is the icon America needs.

6. Chance Collaborated With Lyft in Support of Charity

In a hilarious web series, Chance The Rapper went undercover as a Lyft driver in 2018 and drove unsuspecting Chicagoans around his hometown. The initiative was in support of the SocialWorks' New Chance Fund, a non-profit that gives back to Chicago's public schools and helps children get an education. "Together, Lyft and I have been giving back with Round Up & Donate for SocialWorks' New Chance Fund," Chance said in a statement. "Now, we're having some fun in my hometown, Chicago, as I go undercover as a Lyft driver. I hope this video encourages even more folks to give back just by taking a Lyft." Cardi B

Everyone can breathe a sigh of relief: hip-hop's most dramatic couple is back together.

Sources have confirmed to TMZ that Cardi B and husband Offset are not getting a divorce after all. According to TMZ, "Cardi's returning to the Atlanta home they shared before the breakup. We're told this is the first time she's been back to stay there with Offset and Kulture since December."

Prior to the news of the reunion, fans had already begun to suspect a reconciliation was on the way after Cardi posted "I wanna go home" over a picture of Offset and daughter Kulture on her Instagram story.

While sources say the couple is definitively back together, there are reportedly a few ground rules in place to prevent recurrences of Offset's unfaithful behavior. The Migos rapper has changed his phone number and is only using it for business and communicating with Cardi. He's also abiding by a "no groupies" rule, particularly this weekend at the Super Bowl where no female fans will be allowed near him.

He has a lot to prove to his wife after his infidelities went public in late 2018. While there were many alleged incidents of Offset being unfaithful, the incident that likely drove Cardi B to end the relationship was the leaked text messages between Offset and rapper Summer Bunni, in which Offset seemed to be attempting to plan a threesome with her and Cuban Doll. But Offset didn't take the break up well, attempting to win Cardi back multiple times, even going so far as to interrupt her concert to apologize, efforts that seem to have now paid off.

Whether the events surrounding the split was a publicity stunt for Offset's upcoming album or a genuine rift, it looks like baby Kulture has both her parents under one roof once again.

Chris Brown Arrested for Rape

French police are investigating the crime.

French police say that Chris Brown has been arrested in Paris on suspicion of rape.

The victim is a 24-year-old woman who says she met Brown at a nightclub in central Paris last month and then returned with him to his hotel. The assault happened in the 29-year-old singer's hotel suite.

The french police are investigating the allegation and say that two other individuals, reportedly Brown's bodyguard and his friend, have also been arrested in connection to the crime. Neither the singer or his team have yet to comment on the arrest.

Brown has a history of violence against women, famously assaulting ex-girlfriend, Rihanna, in a car in 2009, leaving her injured and frightened for her life. He received five years probation and a community service order for the assault. Additionally, in 2016, he was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon after a woman told police he had threatened her with a gun, but he never faced any charges.

If the newest charges against Brown prove to be true, it will undoubtedly raise questions about the steps that should be taken to protect society from men who have repeatedly demonstrated violent tendencies against women. RAINN (Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network), the nation's largest anti-sexual violence organization, report that over half of those convicted of rape have been involved in previous instances of violence, particularly violence or sexual assault against women. If Brown hadn't been let off so easily after assaulting Rihanna, could his newest crime have been prevented and his victim spared?
