Shaylen Wants You To Know She's "Sorry"

Shaylen's new video, which premieres exclusively on Popdust, is a compelling look at the singer's dark past.

"[This song] is very personal to me," said Shaylen of her new single "Sorry." "It's all about my struggle with addiction and overcoming it, and being honest with myself and the ones I loved."

The new single, off the 25-year-old's debut EP, Highs and Lows, delves into her traumatic past with brutal honesty and transparency. "Cause I'm sick of saying sorry every day," the Dallas-born pop singer sings on the track's hook.

The single's video, which premieres exclusively on Popdust, follows Shaylen as she traverses the city, reflecting on her past mistakes. "The busyness and chaos of the city felt appropriate to how I was feeling at that time," said Shaylen. "[It] gave the exact vibe of where I wanted to film the video." Check out the video above, and catch up with Shaylen in our exclusive interview here.
