I Tried FanDuel: Here's What Happened

0.1.  I lost the game by a tenth of a point.  I had everything going for me…and I lost by a freaking fraction.  We’ve all been there before: all your running back had to do was get two measly yards, a touchdown, a catch, ANYTHING, and he would’ve sealed the win for you. To make things worse, the guy who beat you did it with your player that he stole right out from under you in the draft.  The tiniest of margins was enough to derail weeks of hard work and preparation.  After all that, you’re saying to yourself, “That’s it, I’m done, my team sucks, I’m never doing this again….until next week.”

Welcome to the wide world of fantasy sports – where hours are spent setting and tinkering with our lineups, but it takes only seconds for everything to blow up.  And yet, we keep coming back for more.  More often than not, we’re left pissed off and disappointed. But let’s be honest with ourselves:  nothing beats the feeling of that hard-earned win.  I wanted to watch anything besides football, but I kept seeing commercials about people playing one-week fantasy football on FanDuel and winning a lot of money doing it.  I knew my team was done for, so I decided to try FanDuel for a shot at redemption.
