Kim Porter is Dead at 47

The model and actress had three children with on-again, off-again ex-boyfriend Sean "Diddy" Combs.

Model and actress Kim Porter, who well known as the ex-girlfriend of rapper Sean "Diddy" Combs, has died at the age of 47. Porter and Combs dated on and off for 13 years and had three children together. They ended their relationship in 2007, but remained close.

Porter's credits include roles on the TV series "Wicked Wicked Games" and "Single Ladies," and in the films "Mama, I Want to Sing" and "Brothers." She appeared as a model on the cover of Essence magazine, and as herself in episodes of "I Want to Work for Diddy."

While no cause of death has been reported, a Los Angeles Police Department spokesman confirmed that police had responded to a 911 call in Toluca Lake about a "patient in cardiac arrest" this morning. According to TMZ, which broke the news, Porter had been suffering from pneumonia for weeks.

In a statement to Variety, Diddy's rep Cindi Berger said, "Sadly, I can confirm the passing of Kim Porter. I ask that you give the families privacy at this time."
