Thousands flocked to Miami to attend the annual Ultra Music Festival

Ultra Music Festival Returns In 2019

The 20th edition of Ultra Music Festival (UMF) has just wrapped up and has already announced its return to Bayfront Park on March 29, 30, and 31, 2019. This year, the annual event considered to be the mecca of dance music festivals in North America pulled in acts ranging from the likes of Oliver Heldens to Tiesto & even managed to close the show with the spectacular rebirth of the Swedish House Mafia. Drawing crowds by the hundreds of thousands from around the world, Ultra Music Festival continues to drive strong economic growth for South Florida.

The three-day electronic dance music festival, showcasing the world's biggest DJs and electronic dance music acts, has something for everyone ranging from main stream to up-and-coming artists. Many people travel to Miami and South Beach for the first time to attend this festival. Some turn it into an annual pilgrimage to recharge and network. Last year, the event pulled in more than 165,000 partygoers to attend the festival over the weekend which is a 266% increase from its total attendance of 45,000 in 2005.

According to Miami Community newspaper, last year UMF brought in $148 million dollars into the Miami Dade County area and this number is expected to topple over $200 million in 2018. Undoubtedly, the city of Miami hopes not like to lose this economic impact generated by UMF. With continual growth, good music, and positive vibes we can't wait until next year to head back to Bayfront Park and attend what we consider musical paradise. All in all, if you are looking to plan a trip next year, start planning and booking for your trip now!
