Electro-pop singer-songwriter Surrija, formerly known as Jane Lui, introduces the music video for "Minotaur," from her recent self-titled album.
Inspired by Picasso's love for Spanish bullfighting, Surrija says, "His painting Minotauromachy (1935) depicts the Bull reaching toward the light and the girl – the only one with both feet on the ground and a symbol of innocence and strength." Simultaneously spine-chilling and alluring, Surrija's voice fills the song with haunting poetry.
