The fireworks may have lit the sky yesterday, but a beaming engagement ring was shining from Kirsten Corley's finger when Chance the Rapper, the father of their daughter, Kensli, proposed on bended knee at a July 4th barbeque.
"Kirsten Katrina Corley, will you make me a man and be my wife?" That was all it took for the "yes" Chance was after as family and friends looked on with delight. Chance is only 25-years-old, but the couple has been together for years. That said, as reported by People, "The pair began dating in 2013, but they separated in May 2016 when Corley filed court documents to declare the rapper Kensli's father. She asked the courts to remain "sole caretaker" of their daughter and also requested child support. Corley withdrew her filing in January 2017 when she and the rapper reconciled."
It looks like the past year has proven to be bliss for the couple who will now be taking a major step in their relationship. Next up? Close-ups of the ring, "wedding watch," and speculations of a second child…in true celeb-obsessed fashion.
