The band just released their newest music video "Get Paid" which focuses on the issue of gun violence. They're donating all revenue from this video to the National Compassion Fund in an effort to do as much as they can to help survivors of such tragedies.

THE BREAKDOWN

"Roads"

This song was very influential for us when we were writing our first EP. Beth Gibbons has such an understated yet expressive voice. Portishead is one of our favorite bands, and it is always interesting seeing how influential they are to modern music.

"Tears"

Massive attack is another band that we drew lots of inspiration from while writing the first EP. The timbers and instrumentation in this song is so dope. I also just thought it fit perfectly with the Portishead song.

"Sky Full of Song"

Florence Welch has been my biggest inspiration as a vocalist. She has so much control over her voice and never overdoes it with her huge range. I've been super into this new minimalistic single from them.

"American Boy"

No playlist is complete without a little Kanye thrown in there. This song was added in anticipation for the upcoming Kanye season. But Estelle is dope and this song is one of my favorites.

"Spice Girl"

In the van we listen to a lot of rap and hip-hop. I feel like it's the perfect driving music to keep everyone awake and engaged. Aminé is new on the scene but is blowing up. I think this song best represents who he is as an artist.

"Five Minutes"

This band has been one of my favourite bands for a couple of years now. They recently just released a new album but this older song will always remain my favourite. I love the guitar part that comes in later.

"Kerala"

The guys introduced me to Bonobo a couple of years ago and I couldn't believe how influential he is. This was the first song I ever heard from him and it still remains an amazing song. This is a perfect night drive song.

"Figures"

Gotta represent my fellow Canadian, Jessie Reyez. Her delivery on this song is insane. It made me totally fall in love with her as an artist

"Desperado"

I think Rihanna does a perfect job at being a Bad Bitch in this song. She will forever be my fav.

"Horizons"

This is an older song but I thought it summed the playlist up pretty well. Pucifer is another one of Maynard's projects where he totally killed it with this record.
