Kanye Begins New Year with Political Rant - Expects 4th Child with Kim Kardashian West

The rapper welcomed 2019 by tweeting, "Trump all day" before sources confirmed he and his wife are expecting a baby boy.

Kanye West welcomed 2019 with renewed fervor for Donald Trump.

After announcing in October that he planned on "distancing" himself from politics, the 41-year-old rapper took to Twitter on New Year's Day to reaffirm his love for MAGA hats and the president's "dragon energy."

"Trump all day," West wrote on Tuesday, followed by three dragon emojis. The images reference his April tweets in which he repeated his support of Trump, "[T]he mob can't make me not love him. We are both dragon energy. He is my brother." West went on to define people with "dragon energy" as "natural born leaders," "very instinctive," and having "great foresight."

In a series of New Year's Tweets, West began, "Just so in 2019 you know where I stand...They will not program me...Blacks are 90% Democrats...That sounds like control to me…" To his meager credit, this statistic is not pulled from thin air. Rather, West is misinterpreting a poll from Pew Research Center citing that 90% of black voters supported Democrats in the 2018 House of Representatives race.

He noted, "One of my favorite of many things about what the Trump hat represents to me is that people can't tell me what to do because I'm black." He added, "from now on I'm performing with my mutherfucking hat on."

The rapper also tweeted, "2024," referencing his previous public statements about planning to run for president in 2024. "If I decide to do it, it will be done," he promised in an interview with a Chicago radio station. "I'm not gonna try." West has expressed interest in a presidential bid since 2015, voicing plans to "make sure that the medical industry flourishes" and even calling to "abolish" the 13th amendment.

West injected his rant with sentiments of "love everyone" and "start the year clean." The following day, People confirmed that the rapper and his wife Kim Kardashian West are expecting their fourth child via a surrogate. An alleged insider toldInquisitr that Kanye's growing family help him stay calm, stating, "Kanye says that being a dad is the most important thing that he does, and despite his other problems, he's an involved, loving dad to his kids." The unnamed source added, "They stabilize him. It's almost like a physical change."

TMZ reported that the couple is expecting a baby boy in early May.
