Why We're Celebrating Pride With Drizly

The month of June is all about embracing the LGBTQ+ community and celebrating inclusivity, and we are always here for that! Pride Month is right around the corner and we're getting ready.

Our editors have been talking about how even though Pride festivities may look a little different this year, there are still a ton of ways to celebrate and show your support. We're planning some at-home activities to mark the occasion, and we're going back to our old reliable, Drizly, to make sure our bar carts are well-stocked and with some LGBTQ-owned drinks that are perfect for Pride.

If you don't know, Drizly is a one-stop-shop for all of your alcohol needs! Drizly brings the liquor store to you by allowing you to shop all of your local stores in one convenient place. Oh, and did we mention they deliver it right to your door in under an hour?!

Instead of having to go to multiple locations to find exactly what you're looking for, Drizly allows you to see inventory for all liquor stores in your area, and you can even compare prices to ensure you're getting the best deal possible.

If you're anything like us, you're always scrambling to get things ready at the last minute, and luckily, Drizly deliveries come in under an hour, or, you can schedule up to 2 weeks in advance if you want to prep. We can't wait to make some vibrant cocktails and have fun with friends. While Drizly has just about every type of liquor and brand you could ever want, this year we're going to make an extra effort to support the brands that go the extra mile to stand in solidarity with the LGBTQ+ community.

If Vodka is your thing, why not reach for a bottle of Absolut? Its years-long partnership with GLAAD in support of the work it does to advocate for the LGBTQ+ is just one of the ways they are helping to encourage a more inclusive world. Aboslut also makes a delicious range of canned, ready-to-drink cocktails, so all you have to do is crack one open and enjoy responsibly!

Trying to stay away from spirits? Why not sip on some Barefoot wine! Barefoot was one of the first companies to show their support way back in 1988 when they donated a portion of their proceeds to the Golden Gate Business Association of San Francisco, an organization that champions a number of LGBTQ+ issues. Over the years, they have shown their continued support by releasing limited edition rainbow bottles that resulted in over $60,000 being donated to charity. Nothing tastes sweeter than a glass of wine that serves a higher purpose!

If you're unsure of trying something new, Drizly's website and app have tons of reviews of each product, so you can make the most informed decision. You can even search for LGBTQ-owned drinks!

Drizly also offers delivery for snacks, ice, mixers, and various other supplies, making it a one-stop-shop for all of your Pride festivity needs!

This year, you might not be able to go to a parade or see all of the friends you hoped to, but you can still get into the spirit of this truly important celebration. Whether you're on zoom calls or with a small group in person, let's celebrate all things love and inclusivity. Happy Pride!
