I Tried Honeylove’s SuperPower Short - Here’s My Honest Review

I’m in the trenches when it comes to fashion – everything from underwear to accessories. I’ve always been hesitant to embrace shapewear, but I have given it a shot (more than once).

Everyone loves to feel confident in their tighter outfits, and shapewear solutions seem like the way to go, right? But in my experience, it’s just not worth it. They’re far too snug, roll down, and pinch - how could one garment wreak so much havoc?! And how are women doing it?!

If you’ve had a similar experience, you’ll be happy to hear that I’ve discovered exactly how they’re doing it – and I’m obsessed.

We are done with shapewear. We’re upgrading to Sculptwear with Honeylove.

I get it - you’re hesitant. What is Honeylove? What is Sculptwear? I had the same questions when a good friend recommended the brand to me.

She explained that Honeylove’s Sculptwear is made to make women feel confident, sexy, and ultimately comfortable. They’ve got shorts, briefs, bras, leggings, and pants in their lineup with tons of rave reviews.

I couldn’t believe it on her word alone (no offense, I’ve just been burned before) so I went ahead and ordered their all-star: the SuperPower Short.

First off, I was pleasantly surprised by all the color options. They have three different skin tones: Sand, Mocha, and Cinnamon. Plus, there’s a solid black (Vamp), and a black and beige mesh combo (Runway) that showcases the signature Honeylove “X”. I went with Runway since the mesh detail gives it a chicer feel.

In terms of sizing, Honeylove has an inclusive range offering XS to 3X. Their sizing tool is super helpful and - based on information like jean size and height - it recommended I order a size L.

When it arrived, I put my SuperPower Short on and… I fell in love. It hugged me in all the right places! Turns out Honeylove does more than just make stylish Sculptwear - it’s functional too. The panels make me feel secure with the perfect amount of targeted compression and the bathroom-friendly opening is a game-changer.

Honeylove has even solved the dreaded roll-down of traditional shapewear by using flexible bones in the side seams. They hold the garment up without any poking or pinching on my sides – a dream come true.

I definitely recommend the SuperPower Shorts for your first Honeylove experience. The legs are a great length for under mid-length or long dresses. By leaving space at the waistband and leg hems, Honeylove has even avoided the dreaded “muffin top” effect you can get with traditional shapewear. Plus, you get a sculpting, booty lift from their patent-pending BoostBands that encircle the upper back legs.

Honeylove is a must-have for every wardrobe. I’m a complete Sculptwear fan now and can’t wait to try their SuperPower Brief, LiftWear Tank, and Crossover Bra. There’s so much more, but these are top of my list.

Try Honeylove, and thank me later. ;)
